P6 and SCU2 enjoyed a great visit to the North Down Museum. It was a morning filled with practical, discovery-based activities. Highlights were learning how to be archaeologists, “living” in a longhouse and making clay brooches engraved in runes (Viking letters). The visit has really enhanced our topic of “Vikings- Raiders and Invaders”.
