QUB Marine Biology Project
Primary 7 recently completed their marine biology project in partnership with KIPS and Queen’s University. As part of the project, we travelled to the Queen’s Marine Laboratory in Portaferry, where pupils proudly presented their group posters showcasing the sea life they had studied along the Kircubbin shoreline.
During our visit, Emma, the marine biologist leading the project, gave us a fascinating tour of the laboratory and explained some of the important research carried out there. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about marine life and the work of marine scientists.
Everyone had a fantastic day and thoroughly enjoyed this memorable experience!
