P5 pupils have been mastering the 4x or 8x tables using the doubling strategy- doubling the 2x table to find 4x answers or doubling the 4x table to get the 8x. We have also been playing engaging games to develop speed and beat the timer! Not only all this, they have been applying the partitioning strategy to solve TU or HTU x calculations and using this to check their vertical written x calculations. Fab work P 5!
