P5 enjoyed their visit from Science teachers, Miss McCluskey and Mr Thompson, from Our Lady and St. Patrick’s Grammar School. We learnt about lots of different types of forces all around us. We carried out some experiments linked to forces, made predictions and came to conclusions. We also learnt lots of science vocabulary. We were surprised to learn that we can measure force in ‘Newtons’ and we got to us a Newton Meter. We are now looking forward to designing our planes and looking forward to our visit to their school and the science lab next week.
