Primary 5 had a fantastic day visiting Our Lady and St Patrick’s Grammar School in Belfast along with P5 pupils from Ballygalget. The pupils enjoyed spending time in the science lab where they built their wooden planes and then added the designs which the had worked on in school. Congratulations to Evelina who won the prize for best design! We then had a class competition who see whose plane would fly the farthest, and the pupils calculated the average of their 2 throws to find their average distance. Congratulations to Cian, Freddie and Sintija and Thomas who had the highest average score at their tables. Cian and Freddie then represented the class against the top 2 average distances from Ballygalget. Every cm was important! Congratulations to the boys who won fantastic prizes.
