Primary 4 have had a fantastic week diving into division. We’ve been exploring how to sort items into equal groups and discovering that division is really just “sharing equally” or “grouping” in different ways. The class have enjoyed using practical materials and solving real‑life problems to show their understanding. A big focus now is building confidence with the 2s, 5s and 10s times tables, as these facts make division much quicker and more accurate.Using Top Marks games or the ever‑popular Hit the Button are great ways to build speed and confidence.
