P2/3 have been learning all about 2D shape. We took part in shape stations to explore different 2D shapes and their sides. Our stations were:
1. Matching the names of a variety of shapes to their picture.
2. Sorting a variety of 2D shapes in a Venn Diagram e.g. shapes with 4 sides and shapes with straight sides.
3. Making lot’s of 2D shapes using construction sticks, lollipop sticks and pipe cleaners.
4. Creating a street in a city, using 2D shapes to make the buildings and decorating.
