This week P2/3 enjoyed exploring our new topic Houses and Homes through some Science, Cookery, Art and ICT activities.
- One group made houses from different materials, e.g. plastic, cotton wool, tin foil, sprinkled water on top and tested which materials were waterproof.
- One group made houses from different types of food, e.g. crackers, cheese, cucumber, carrot sticks, breadsticks etc.
- One group used the Paint app to design their own houses in the computer room.
- One group used magazines, coloured paper, sequins, pipe cleaners and pom-poms to make a collage of ideas for their dream house.
We we are looking forward to the next lesson so we can swap activities and try something new.
