For our sound of the week, f, the children enjoyed exploring words that begin with the f sound, such as fish, fox, fur, and flake, linking nicely to our Arctic theme. They practised saying the sound clearly, spotting it at the start of words, and forming the letter through fun, hands-on activities. The children were enthusiastic and confident, showing great progress in recognising and using the f sound in their everyday learning.
