This week, our sound of the week has been “oa”. The children have enjoyed exploring words containing the “oa” sound such as boat, goat, coat, and road through a range of fun and engaging activities. We have been practising recognising the sound, saying it clearly, and identifying it in words during phonics sessions, games, and story time. The children have shown great enthusiasm and confidence as they continue developing their early reading and writing skills.
