This week we’ve been exploring the “i” sound in lots of fun and engaging ways! We learned it through songs and actions, practiced writing it, and even traced it in sand and foam. We also discovered different things that begin with the “i” sound, such as igloos, iguanas, and ink. To finish, we explored our inky tuff tray, where we sorted objects and pictures — placing those with the “i” sound in one group and those with the n, p, or t sounds in another.
