This term, we enjoyed observing the life cycle of a caterpillar in our classroom. The children were very excited to watch the caterpillars grow and change each day, learning about each stage of the life cycle from caterpillar to chrysalis and finally into beautiful butterflies. They enjoyed discussing the changes they noticed and showed great curiosity throughout the experience. Once the butterflies were ready, we carefully released them into our butterfly garden, which was a wonderful and memorable experience for the whole class.
