During our morning activities, we are working hard to blend and segment the sounds we know to build and read CVC words in a variety of fun and engaging ways. Students practice stretching out sounds, tapping and clapping phonemes, and putting them back together to make words, all while playing games and using hands-on materials. These activities help strengthen early reading skills and build confidence as learners discover how individual sounds work together to form words. The enthusiasm and effort shown each morning are wonderful to see as students grow into strong, independent readers!
