P1 and STEM
30th Mar 2026
Our STEM morning was an exciting and hands-on experience, especially with Gerard visiting to guide us through different activities. He helped us explore how things move and work by showing us how to design and build our own toys. We created buggies using simple materials, thinking carefully about how to make them roll smoothly, and we also made tabletop spinners, experimenting with balance and speed. It was a fun and engaging way to learn about basic engineering and problem-solving, and everyone enjoyed testing their creations and sharing ideas with each other.
