Even though we have been busy exploring our topic work on measurement in Numeracy, we have also been continuing to build our number skills. This week we looked at partitioning numbers, which helped us understand how numbers can be split into parts. This led us into our work on addition, where we began writing simple number sentences using the whole-part model to support our thinking. The children have been working really hard and are developing great confidence in their number work!
