This week in Primary 1, we have been learning all about measure. We began the week by exploring and using new mathematical vocabulary such as long, short, and tall to describe different objects. Today, we took our learning a step further by measuring with non-standard units using cubes. The children had great fun investigating and comparing the lengths of lots of different items around our classroom — we even measured our shoes! Everyone worked carefully to line up the cubes and record their findings, showing great enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the activity.
