Primary 4 had an exciting week full of learning and creativity! In Numeracy pupils have been revising their understanding of o’clock and half past times as well as practising how to partition two-digit numbers as an adding strategy. In Literacy, the focus has been on speech marks-learning how to use them correctly and spotting examples in our novels. The class has also been enjoying our shared reading of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which has sparked lots of discussion about the characters and story. In World around us, pupils have loved exploring the festival of Diwali. They learned about its traditions and celebrations and the highlight was getting creative by painting their own diya lamps. It’s been a bright and busy week in Primary 4-full of learning and fun!🌈
