Exploring Symmetry in P4
10th Oct 2025
Primary 4 have been busy exploring the world of symmetry through a range of fun and hands-on activities. The pupils rotated through different stations, each designed to help them understand symmetry in creative ways. At one station, children used a variety of materials to create symmetrical images, carefully matching shapes and colours on each side. On the iPads, they played interactive symmetry games, testing their skills and spotting symmetrical patterns. Using pegboards, pupils built symmetrical images, thinking carefully how each side matched the other. It was a fantastic way to learn through play, and the children showed great creativity and focus.
