Primary 5 held a class assembly to inform the rest of the school about 'Engine Off! Prevent the Cough!'
With the help of Ards & North Down Borough Council, P5 are taking part in an initiative that aims to tackle air pollution. The campaign will not only result in an improvement to our air quality but it will also develop Key Stage 2 cross curricular skills through language and literacy, mathematics and numeracy, ‘the world around us’ as well as personal development and mutual understanding.
Can you make a pledge to your child that you will turn your engine off? If your child brings back the pledge, P5 will reward them with a treat!!
