P6 had their first Literature Circles meeting today.This coincided with Book Week NI. Over the last few weeks they have been learning the roles of Discussion Director, Summariser, Connector, Illustrator, Passage Finder and Word Wizard. They really enjoyed this "book-club" style of guided reading. They will finish their current novel over the Halloween break. They can't wait to choose their next novel!
