Today we had a very welcome visit from Paula McKeown who led us in a short Ash Wednesday prayer service. The key message from Luke’s Gospel reading was “Jesus loves Us”. At the end ashes were distributed by Paula, Mr Dorrian and Mrs Coleman. The Lenten message was a far cry from the ones I experienced in school.
