3D Shape Investigation in P2/3
27th Feb 2026
This week P2/3 were investigating which 3D shapes roll and which stack. We had lots of fun exploring this. We discovered that 3D shapes which have more than one flat face are able to stack, e.g. cube, cuboid and cylinder, while shapes need a curved face to roll, e.g. sphere and cone.
