Grandparents' Day (Updated*)

25th Jan 2022

As Part of Catholic Schools Week we normally hold a Grandparents' Day where Grandparents are invited into school for a cup of tea and a chat with the children. This is a very enjoyable experience for both the grandparents and the pupils. Hopefully when Covid is gone,we can invite our grandparents in to see around their grandchildren's classrooms and have a cup of tea.

Grandparents should never underestimate how important they are in the modern world to their grandchildren and just how much they adore and love them. We hear about grannies and grandas, nannies and pops on a daily basis!

This attached video celebrates the special bond that our grannies and grandas have with our wonderful pupils. The photos were sent in by parents and were simply used in the  order we received them in. There are lots of repeats as many of our pupils share grandparents and I did not wish to edit / filter out any photos.

As a result the video is just over 12 minutes long. We know that it will have international appeal and will be viewed in Canada, England & Fuerteventura! Grab a cup of tea, Put your feet up and enjoy!

Thanks for all you do for our children!
